Kidz KABORET
There comes a time for most kids when the standard
magic show becomes a little too young for them. By the time
children become teenagers they don’t want to see balloons
blown up, they don’t want their faces painted and they
don’t want to see a rabbit being pulled from a hat.
In this MTV generation they demand something a little more
adult – after all kids grow up so fast these days. Realising
this KidsLoveMagic
has pioneered a brand new concept “KIDZ
KABARET”.
Craig Petty
and
Ethan Mark are 2 of the magicians that make
up the KidsLoveMagic
team. They have over 20 years combined experience within the
entertainment industry. Craig and Ethan are renowned for thier
Cabaret and Stage acts which for years they have been presenting
at corporate dinners, trade shows and private parties throughout
Europe. Every time they have presented this act it has always
lead to repeat bookings and excellent word of mouth. In 2005,
Craig and Ethan started to develop a similar style of act
that is suitable for older children and teenagers.
Kidz Kabaret
is a Cabaret show for kids, which has been developed to appeal
to teenagers and young adults. Rather than tricks aimed at
younger children, the routines presented are mind blowing
magic, some even have an element of danger to the magician
and above all they are FUN.
A perfect example is the routine Craig and Ethan have chosen
to close their act with “The
Paintball Bullet Catch”. "The well
known bullet catch routine where a live bullet is shot from
a real gun and is then caught in the mouth of the magician,
is world famous"
Ten men have died attempting it and even the great Harry Houdini
never attempted the illusion.
With KidsLoveMagic’s
version, the routine is performed with a paintball gun which
although perfectly safe can still hurt especially if the paintball
hits a tender area! A paintball is signed by one of the kids
and then loaded into the gun, the signed bullet is then fired
at Ethan who catches it in his teeth. This is the culmination
of some amazing magic and a lot of fun and participation.
Since debuting the Kidz Kabaret
concept it has become very popular. Craig and Ethan have performed
the act in schools, colleges, graduation balls and Wacky Warehouses
and Fun Factories around the UK.
